Finally an Update
Hello Everyone- Certain friends have been bugging me to do an update so I figured I should at least put something up. I got married in August for those of you who don't know. I'm playing a show with my band this weekend on sat the 15th. So if you would like to go you should email me or reply to this or something. My Bro Paul (sperman hermann) will also be playing and a few other good bands. I actually got to hang out with Hermann finally. That was cool plus I've bought some sweet Cd's lately which is always good. I also got to hang with Jake and Gram at the Lobster House that was mo po tight yo. So I think thats it. Work sleep and more work. Does it ever end. If there is anyone in Bellingham that can get me another job that would rule. Peace out to all those in the B-ham and everyone else I know and love. Its been a long time since I sang the blues
Hey Every one I've missed all you guys, since I haven't seen any of you in a long while. except paul of course but he lives much closer and always needs a ride. So things are going all right. I just got done talking to brett on msn I haven't talked to that guy in forever. I hope we can hang sometime soon. (that goes for everyone). So I haven't updated in a while, But its true I am still alive for real no you gotta believe me I really am. So anyways the only changes are that I've really gotten into paintball so if any of you play let me know because I want to play again soon. I think I'm getting addicted. So thats about it. Lost At Sea has a 3 song homade ep out. So if any one wants to buy one there $3. It has 15 minutes of music so thats a pretty good deal plus the band could use any money right now. We played at the paradox and we totally sucked but you gotta get your name out. So hope to find some more shows soon. Love ya Ryan | | Monday, August 5th, 2002 | | 10:18 am |
Yeah
So I still haven't found a job and my dad keeps telling me I need to find a career not just a job. Well that is friggin hard. I'm at Devon's parents house helping with the youth camp out thingy, its been pretty fun. I just ordered tickets to the juliana theory which, is cool I can't wait to see 238 they rule. So thats about it for now. I can't wait tell tucker and grahm move to b-ham more peeps to hang with up there. So I need to go. Ryan | | Monday, July 29th, 2002 | | 11:54 am |
Don't know Why I update this thing
Well I really don't know why I even still do this thing but I thought I'd update anyhow. So creation was pretty lame this year I saw a few good bands (now I will list the good bands so laugh if you want to) Phil Keaggy and glass harp ruled they were probably the best band there, Hangnail defenitly came in a close second, Relient K was thoughrly amusing as usual, Thousand foot Krutch was pretty good Althogh they need to get more into it, the lead singer totally rocked it but the rest of the band was kind of blah ok they totally sucked, The lead singer did a song with hangnail and it rocked so hard. After that it was probably Pax 217, and then Michael W. Smith, Laugh if you want to but he is a very good performer, don't particularly like his albums but the guy can perform with the best of them. so thats the creation story now for more recent news/fun stuff. Devon and I are doing the jell-o olympics today at her youth group it is going to be awesome. So thats about it for now. Dagmar rules so give me some in put already. Love you all in the most non homo-erotic kind of way peace Ryan Current Mood: calmCurrent Music: Weezer - The Blue Album | | Tuesday, July 23rd, 2002 | | 11:13 pm |
I got engaged!
As most everyone knows I got engaged on july 6 at the Who concert. Paul has been bugging me to update so now I am. I'm going to creation tomorow to help my parents do the food for my brothers youth group. Hopefully it won't be too lame. Band practice was pretty rockin with P-Thugg and Jew Baby. 2 songs in the bank just 8 more and we could put out a cd. Ha ha. Well got to be keepin it real yo. Dave hasn't showed up for about 3 weeks, so needless to say the other band hasn't been practicing a lot lately. We did a few practices without him but I think its starting to get to everybody in the band. I also thought of a cool name for the band I'm in with Paul so give me some feed back what do you all think about the name "Dagmar". I keep passing that damn sign between Marysville and Everett. Thats about it for now so peace out. Ryan Current Mood: blahCurrent Music: Mission of Burma - Acadamey fight song | | Tuesday, June 25th, 2002 | | 9:54 pm |
whats up everyone
Well its been a while, I've been looking for a job but still haven't found anything to promising. I applied for swing at a Cheveron station in the b-ham area. So hopfully I can get that then I can move to B-ham. Well I still don't have any friends so thanks everyone that is really cool. Paul and I hung out today and played some frizbie which was fun. we didn't get to jam though which kind of sucks. Maybe tomorow or somethings. I have 2 apps to turn in tomorow plus I should start painting my grandpas rental tomorow too. Paul and I jamed last week and it went pretty well. I was actually suprised that Paul can sing. Now he just needs to learn to play and sing. Too bad he is so determined to play and sing other wise he could just sing well maybe we will talk about that. Thats about all the news of late. not much going on
Well today is fathers day and that was pretty cool. I went to church with my family and then we went out for lunch. After that I came home and took a nap. Then I went out with Devon for a while and now I'm home. The End Ryan Current Mood: apatheticCurrent Music: just the music in my head | | 12:31 am |
Time for bed
So the show sucked because nobody came. Too many other parties for people to go to and what not. We played pretty well and the tone was better than usual. It was fun, but could have been better. The Scooby-Doo movie was awesome I don't really care what other people think I liked it a lot. It was funny and very similar to the cartoon. My one complaint is that the monster things were real where as in the cartoon they were always fake. But other than that it was really cool. I had fun hangin with Isaac and Paul today. We tried to go to the Botch show but it was sold out so we just walked around talking in seattle. It was cool. Well thats it for now I'll try and write soon. Show at the red rum house
So we are playing a show tonight at the red rum house (aka David Banzer's house in seattle). Any way we are playing at 9:30 PM. Delore is also playing after us. No charge at the door, but I think donations are accepted for booze. Well now for the directions on how to get there. From I-5 south take the james street exit, take a left onto james street, continue on james until you reach 21st (I think) take a right onto 21st street and the house is on the right second from the last building on the block (next to a white church) You will probaly see the ghetto mobile there somewhere (1985 chevy astro lowered mini van, kick ass). So hope to see ya all there or what ever. So in other news I'm going to see the new scooby doo movie so I'll let you know how it is tomorow probably. I'm pretty excited because I'm a big scooby fan he kicks ass. Well, I'll be back later Peace Ryan Current Mood: calmCurrent Music: Pedro the Lion: Winners Never Quit | | Thursday, June 13th, 2002 | | 4:32 pm |
